Actually, in the local Darian calendar, they would actually be just a bit over one century remote from their comfort zone. Being new to the Martian culture, though, Kai presumed Thom and Chris would prefer to stick with familiar time units. There was presently to be abit of a learning curve involved in explaining to them that they were visiting this part of history because it was soon to be the Martian tricentennial. Today was 28 Vrishika 299, the local equivalent of New Year's Eve. Tomorrow would be 1 Sagittarius 300. Tonight, Reg and Kai were going to bring their guests along through a bacchanalian tour of all the best parties in the Village.
